MEETING OPENING
From the morning we open our annual gathering: so we are waiting for you to take your place at the base camp.

BASE CAMP
The base camp at Crossodromo Monte Loffa, has a large equipped area exclusively reserved for us. Toilets and showers are available, as well as a refreshment/forest facility with four rooms totaling 12 beds.

VALPOLICELLA ROMANA.
We will visit not only vineyards and a winery, where we will have a wine tasting, but also an archaeological area where beautiful mosaics have been found.
Valpolicella, known mainly for its vineyards, has a past of great value in Roman history: all around are many traces testifying to the numerous Roman settlements and monuments. From here passed the Via Claudia Augusta, a road that connected Verona with the Brenner Pass and thus with the territories of the barbarian populations (today Austria and Germany).

PANORAMIC TOUR
We will arrive in upper Lessinia by anticipating the Translessinia, a route of easy, wide and unobstructed white roads.
We will enjoy a panorama dotted with large pastures and numerous mountain pastures. At the end of the route, we will reach the Refuge for lunch and return in the evening for the social dinner.

FORT VISIT
We will close with Fort Monte Tesoro, part of an early 20th century fortification complex that formed a defensive ‘maginot line’ together with the forts of Lessinia-Forte Masua, Santa Viola, San Briccio and Castelletto.
We will be able to enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view: from the plain, Verona, Mount Pastello and Mount Baldo, to the Lessinia chain.
Finally we will visit a company producing typical cold cuts and cheeses and have lunch at the Bosco Allegro: a picnic area equipped with grills, tables and pergolas where we can cook and consume the products purchased in the store with a well-stocked wine cellar.

During lunch the usual awards and commendations to participants, greetings and…
see you next year!
